CALL TO ORDER
The January 19, 2010, "Pre- Meeting" Work Session was convened at 5:47 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present at the time the meeting convened:
Present: *Carroll (arrived at 5:50 P.M.), Ferguson, Harvey, Klindt, Koon, Medin,
Penfold, Pope, Scrivner and Struemph
Absent: None
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Mayor John Landwehr asked the Council if they would be amenable to moving around some
of the presentations tonight to accommodate the large number of citizens who were
attending on various topics. They Council felt this would be a good idea.
*Councilwoman Carrie Carroll arrived at this point in the meeting (5:50 P.M.)
Mayor John Landwehr asked staff to announce the two simultaneous public forums which
will be held on the next two Thursdays, January 21 and January 28, on the issues of the
sidewalk master plan and Adrian's Island.
INFORMAL CALENDAR:
Bill 2009 -105 (parking on E. Franklin) - This bill will remain on the Informal Calendar for
one more meeting.
Bills 2009 -110, 2009 -111, and 2009 -112 (liquor ordinances) - Councilman Dan Klindt
stated he will remove these from the Informal Calendar and vote on them tonight.
2009 -116 (tattooing) - Councilwoman Carrie Carroll stated she will remove this from the
Informal Calendar and indicated that a substitute bill has been distributed to the Council for
voting on tonight.
2009 -117 (indigent trash service program) - Councilman Ron Medin stated he will leave
this bill on the Informal Calendar.
