CALL TO ORDER
The February 12, 2010, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:02 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Carroll (arrived at 12:10 P.M.), Ferguson, Klindt, Medin, Pope, and
Struemph
Absent: Harvey, Koon, Penfold and Scrivner
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
UPCOMING MEETINGS & EVENTS:
City Administrator Steve Rasmussen will announce a Council Work Session on March 8 and
stated the three topics tentatively scheduled to be discussed are Chamber of Commerce
report from Randy Allen, CIP Update, and a Code Enforcement update. Councilman Jim
Penfold asked if it would be possible to also discuss sewer revenue bond issue.
City Administrator Steve Rasmussen also announced that a Conference Center Design &
Construction Committee meeting will be held at 4:30 P.M. on February 25.
*Councilwoman Carrie Carroll arrived at this point in the meeting (12:10 P.M.)
New Business:
Mayor John Landwehr distributed information regarding the language in the current citywide
curbside trash and recycling program, and stated there appears to be a need to clarify the
current language as it pertains to landlords. He stated he would like the Council to
determine whether the Administration Committee needs to discuss this at a meeting, or
whether it should go to the Council as a whole to get the language clarified with a new
ordinance.
