RESOLUTION NO. 2000.144
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE UPGRADING
OF CERTAIN KITCHEN EQUIPMENT FOR THE BATSMAN
HALL RENOVATION PROJECT, PROJECT 5-5219,
THROUGH AN INFORMAL BIDDING PROCESS
WHEREAS,. the Bateman Hall. Renovation. Project is listed in the City's current Capital
Improvement Project, Project 5-5219; and-
WHEREAS, said project includes the replacement and upgrading of various kitchen
equipment for that facility; and
WHEREAS, said equipments are of commercial grade and have to be ordered, requiring
ample of lead time; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires the timely completion of said equipment
replacement; and
WHEREAS, the upgrading of said equipment can be done more expeditiously through an
informal bidding process; .
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Municipal Code, Section _ 6-3.13 allows the informal bidding
process with a 4/5 vote.
NOW; THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Lynwood City Council as follows:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes the informal bidding process for the upgrading of
the kitchen equipment for the Bateman Hall Renovation Project, Project 5-5219, by a 4/5 vote.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
