LYNWOOD APPROVING THE CITY'S MEMBERSHIP
' -CHANGE FROM THE LOS ~ ANGELES COUNTY
1VIETROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
• ~ . ~ (LACMTA);SOUTHWEST CORRIDOR .SECTOR TO LACMTA ~ ~ '
.SOUTHEAST LONG BEACH

WHEREAS., the City of Lynwood has been placed in the LACMTA Southwest
` Corridor Sector for-the purpose of representation on the MTA. Board of Directors;. and
WHEREAS, the' City has become more and more active in the LACMTA- '
Southeast Long_Beach Sector, which deals with transportation issues more closely relate.to - `
Lynwood; and > .
WHEREAS, the City has to be' officially pl "aced in.the LACMTA Southeast Long
Beach "Sector.

. ~ - NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of '
Lynwood as follows:
Sectiorn 1. That the City Council approves the city's, membership charge from the
", Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) Southwest Corridor {
Sector to LACMTA Southeast Long Beach Sector. _ .
Section• 2. That the Mayor is authorized to request for said change.. ,
