. A RESOLUTION OF THE -CITY .COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF L-~YNWOOD
_ AUTHORIZING THE ALLOCATION OF 1995 HOME PROGRAM FUNDS FOR
~AF~FORDABLE HOUSING AND COMPLETION OF • THE ACCESS
_ ' ~ COMMUNITY HOUSING PROJECT
~, WHEREAS, The Department of Housing and Urban Development Section 24
'} CFR Part 91 has established regulations for the.administration of the federally funded
and, entitlement grant programs offered to the City; and ~ ~ ,
~.
• WHEREAS, the City receives an annual allocation of federal funds under the '
Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program to provide firiancial assistance and
. affordable housing opportunities for low to moderate incorrie persons; and .
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a project with Access .Community
. Housing, Inc.,.a non profit organization, for the development and of two new single
- `family honmes for low income families; and,
` WHEREAS, the City Council has approved an allocation of Home Program funds
to ;implement an Affordable Housing Project;' -
NOW, -THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
. ~ Lynwood has approved an allocation 1995 -HOME Program'CHDO .Set Aside- funds in
the amount of $63,645 for the completion the Access Community Housing Project.
PASSED, APPROVED.,. and ADOPTED this 18th day of September, 2000
