RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE AS``ESSED FOR THE
IMPROVEMENT OF SIDEWALKS IN THE HAMEL AREA, CITY
OF MEDINA
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the construction and repair of sidewalks
in the Hamel Area which lies adjacent to both sides of Hamel Road from Brockton
Lane to Hunter Drive;
WHEREAS, the contract price, together with change orders, for such improve-
ments is $ 28,349.86 and the fees, costs and expenses incurred or to be incurred
in connection therewith in the makeing of such improvement amount to $ 8,300.00 ,
so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ 36,649.86 ;
WHEREAS, the Cities share of the project is $ 3,209.40 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the change orders recommended by the City Engineer are
hereby authorized and confirmed in the amount of $ 12,990.41
and the City Clerk is hereby instructed to place a copy of the
said change orders on file in her office;
2. The total cost of the improvements to be specially assessed
is hereby declared to be $ 33,440,46 ;
3, That the City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer
has calculated the amount to be specially assessed for such
improvements against every assessable lot or parcel of land
within the assessment district without regard to cash valuation,
as provided by law, and the Clerk has placed on file a copy of
such proposed assessment in the Clerk's office for public in-
spection,
4. That the Clerk has notified the Council that the said proposed
assessment has been completed

The moti n for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member fd e-re and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly adopted and passed,
