Nancy Smith, Verl Haderlie, Barbara Bradley. Bili Bradley, Ronnie Barnes. Paul Steele. La.Dawn Moad. Jeff Moad. Jerry Hansen. Mary Lou Blaylock. Lola Harrigfeld. At the beginning of the meeting Mayor Hansen informed the group that do to the lack of having a Quorum, there would be no decisions made at this meeting. The meeting would be reconvened on May 13, 1993 and people could contact the office as to the time. If anyone would like to ask questions we would be happy to answer them, but no decision would be made. Scott Sanderson expressed interest in the City new well and problems with old well. Mayor Hansen explained about new well. Nancy Smith expressed concern about pumping water from town to the tank. Mayor Hansen explained about new well automatic system/connected to old well on the hill. Keith Olsen stated Progressive Irrigation has no record that he could find that Iona. City has water rights. Mayor Hansen explained that rights are paid for and recorded and other 3 wells are recorded. Ciy's intent was to have a contract on file. Scott Sanderson. spokesman for the group itemized details of contract: A. Concern with "Supplus Water" statement. B. Termination right - No way to repair water even in 6 months - request longer. C. Rates: Residential to outside justify rates to outside users residential rates. D. Meters - Added only at time the City adds to residents. E. NO ANNEXATION! F. Limitation on use G. Agreement personal - Want contract to run with the land. Want City to send draft of New Contract.
