HomeMy Public PortalAbout1981-045Member /6/-'5ev- introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. g /-1-4 S RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DIVISION OF THE HELEN COLQUITT PROPERTY WHEREAS, Helen Colquitt has requested a subdivision of real estate lying in the City of Medina and described as follows: The Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 118 North, Range 23 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, EXCEPT, that part thereof lying northwesterly of the centerline of Medina Road, said centerline being the centerline of the travelled portion of Medina Road, Hennepin County. NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of Medina that the subdivision as shown on the certificate of survey attached hereto is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions: 1) The applicant shall dedicate sufficient right-of-way along the southerly border of the property to pro- vide street, drainage and utility easements for County Road 24; 2 The applicant shall dedicate sufficient right-of-way along the westerly border of the property to pro- vide street, drainage and utility easements for Mohawk Road; 3) The applicant shall dedicate sufficient right-of-way along the northwesterly border of the property to pro- vide street, drainage and utility easements for Medina Road; 4) That legal descriptions for Medina Road and Mohawk Road be drafted by the Medina City Engineer; 5) That the legal description for the easement for County Road 24 be approved by the Hennepin County Engineer; 6) That the applicant pay all fees and administrative costs required by Medina City Ordinances; 7) That the subdivision comply in all respects with Ordinances of the City of Medina. Be It Further Resolved that Eldo Meeks, the owner of the property which lies in the southeast quadrant of the inter- section of Mohawk Road and Medina Road be contacted by the Zoning Administrator regarding the possible dedication of the parcel for street, drainage and utility purposes; Be It Further Resolved that the City Engineer and the City Attorney are hereby authorized and directed to prepare the necessary easement documents.
