HomeMy Public PortalAbout20120130 - Conservation Commission - Meeting Minutes Conservation Commission Meeting 30 January 2012 Page 1 of 2 MINUTES- 30 January 2012 Called to Order: 7:30 PM Hopkinton Town Hall, Room 215, 216 Adjourned: 8:20 PM Members Present: Jeffrey Barnes, Frank D’Urso, Andre Griben, Craig Nation, Melissa Recos, Marcus Waldron, Bob Ingram: Conservation Scientist, Don MacAdam: Conservation Administrator Members Absent: Robert Murphy 7:30 PM Commission Business  The Commission signed the following document: - Olde Silver Maple Development, Off South Mill Street – Certificate of Compliance (188- 424)  Mr. Waldron made a motion to approve the Request for Payment dated 30 January 2012. The motion was seconded by Mr. Griben and it was passed by everyone except Mr. Nation who abstained.  Mr. Nation made a motion to have Lucas Environmental to review the Site Plan Review, Legacy Farms, Clinton Street, wastewater treatment facility and provide comments to the Planning Board in response to their request. The motion was seconded by Mr. Griben and it passed unanimously. 7:45 PM Desilets, 236 West Main Street RDA 2011-12 Request for Determination of Applicability Daniel Desilets, applicant/owner Mr. Desilets provided an overview of the Request for Determination of Applicability application and the hand drawn sketch plans on base plans by others received on 19 December 2011. A discussion was held about the proposed addition. The Commission determined not to approve the wetland delineation identified on the sketch plans as accurate. Mr. D’Urso made a motion to close the hearing and issue a negative Determination of Applicability with the standard and noted special conditions. The motion was seconded by Mr. Nation and it passed unanimously. Conservation Commission Meeting 30 January 2012 Page 2 of 2 7:55 PM Commission Business  A discussion was held regarding the proposed project change submitted by Hopkinton DPW, Front Street (188-1462). Mr. Nation made a motion to approve, as an insignificant project change, the proposed relocation the roadway further from the wetland as identified in the sketch plan received 27 January 2012. The motion was seconded by Mr. Waldron and it passed unanimously.  A discussion was held about the status of the stone stockpile and the request for an extension on the submission of the mitigation planting plan for the Hopkinton DPW, Front Street (188- 1462). The Commission was amenable to extending the submission of the planting plan.  A discussion was held regarding the status of the certificate of compliance application for the Hopkinton Housing Authority, Mayhew Court (188-1416).  A discussion was held about the need to make revisions to the Wetlands Protection Regulations to reflect changes made to Wetlands Bylaw. 8:05 PM Long Life Farm, 0 School Street (R22 7 0) Informal Discussion A discussion was held about the letter from Long Life Farm dated 06 January 2012.
