RESOLUTION NO. 08 -4574
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY RE- APPOINTING COUNCILMEMBER KEN
GILLANDERS AS TEMPLE CITY'S REPRESENTATIVE ON
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY
MOSQUITO AND VECTOR CONTROL DISTRICT FOR A TERM
OF OFFICE ENDING ON DECEMBER 31, 2010
WHEREAS, the City Council may appoint any qualified elector of the City of Temple City
as the City's representative on the Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Ken Gillanders has served the City of Temple City in this
capacity since March 2008; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby thanks Councilmember Gillanders for his service to
the City on the District's Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Gillanders has expressed his desire to be re- appointed to
the District Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby re- appoint Councilmember Ken Gillanders as
its representative on the Board of Trustees for the District for a period ending December 31,
2010; and
SECTION 2. Such appointment is made at the pleasure of the City Council and may be
revoked at any time upon adoption of a Resolution by the City Council taking such action.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 7th day of October 2008.

held on the 7th day of October 2008 by the following vote:
