CALL TO ORDER
The April 16, 2010, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:04 P.M. by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Carroll, Ferguson, Harvey, Klindt, Koon, Medin, Penfold, and *Pope
(arrived at 12:10 P.M.)
Absent: Scrivner and Struemph
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
City Administrator Steve Rasmussen reminded the Mayor and Council to be at City Hall at
5:30 P.M. on Monday night to get their annual Mayor & Council portrait taken in the Council
Chambers right before the pre- meeting.
Councilman Ron Medin stated he plans to nominate Councilman Eric Struemph as
President Pro Tempore on Monday night.
*Councilman Bryan Pope arrived at this point in the meeting (12:10 P.M.)
Discussion was held regarding the appointment of Council standing committees and liaisons
to boards and commissions. Mayor John Landwehr stated he will appoint four of the five
standing committees and CAMPO on Monday night as those have issues which will require
Council Members. The remaining appointments will be made at the May 3 meeting after the
Council has had an opportunity to discuss among themselves which boards and
commissions they prefer.
