A RESOLUTION. OF TI3E CITY COUNCIL:, OF THE CTI'Y OF LYNWOOD
AUTI-IORIZING AN .AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITE OF LYNWOOD AND
MYBAR PRINTING, INC. FOR PRINTING SERVICES

WHEREAS, as a result of the concern to have more printed information
disseminated to the Lynwood community, Lynwood `n Perspective has been published
for seven years, and
WHEREAS, Lynwood `n Perspective features timely information about city
services, programs and events that is beneficial to the entire community; and
WHEREAS, Lynwood `n Perspective has gain community popularity since
becoming an English and Spanish publication in 1998; and
WHEREAS,' staff has obtained sufficient price quotes from vendors regarding the
printing of the .newsletter; and .
WHEREAS, after review of each vendor, it was~determined that Nlybar Printing,
Inc., submitted the lowest price quote; and ~ -
WHEREAS, Mybar Printing, Inc.-over the past year, has printed the City's
.monthly newsletter, Lynwood `n Perspective rendering exceptional quality printing
services to the City; and
WHEREAS, Mybar Printing, Inc. proposed to print Lynwood `n Perspective (12
issues) at a cost not to exceed $ 27,456.00.
NOW T~IEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve, orderand determine
as follows:
Section 1. The City Council does hereby authorize entering into an ~agreem~nt
between the City of Lynwood and Mybar Printing, Inc. for printing twelve issues of the
City's monthly newsletter fpr a total cost not to exceed $27,456.00
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
