A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF THIRTEEN THOUSAND FOUR
HUNDRED AND TWENTY FOUR DOLLARS FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED
GENERAL FUND BALANCE FOR THE PURCHASE OF,EQUIPMENT
FOR THE INFORMATION,,SERVICES PROGRAM
WHEREAS, On May 22, 2000, the Lynwood City Council adopted Resolution
+$ NO. 2000.93, ratifying an agreement between Project Impact and the City of Lynwood;
and
WHEREAS, As part of the agreement Project Impact will provide to the City of
Lynwood: information. services, satellite information sites, and a youth services ID card
system; and
WHEREAS, The equipment to be purchased to facilitate these programs
includes a database server, software, a digital camera; card printers, and barcode
readers; and
WHEREAS,- The total cost of.this equipment is Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred
Twenty-Four Dollars ($13,424.00); and
WHEREAS, At the conclusion of these programs the City ,of Lynwood will retain
ownership of all equipment purchased; ~ '
WHEREAS, The purchase of equipment for the information services and youth
services ID card system was not originally identified and approved for funding in the
2000/2001. fiscal budget; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby- find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
. Section 1. The City .Manager or his designee is authorized to carry out any
necessary transactions. as so ordered by this resolution.
Section 2. That a fund appropriation in the amount of Thirteen Thousand
Four Hundred Twenty Four Dollars, ($13,424.00) be executed as follows: `

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon.its adoption.
