HomeMy Public PortalAbout1982-006 BMember V`).7-7f4 Vc� introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 0 �%- RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE HENDRICKS LAND DIVISION/CONSOLIDATION WHEREAS, Bryan and Denise Hendricks, husband and wife, are the owners of real estate described as: Lots 6, 7, and 8, Block 20, Independence Beach, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the three parcels of real estate above -described were three separate parcels of record prior to the 16th day of March, 1976; and WHEREAS, the above -described owners have made application to divide and consolidate the above -described property as follows: Parcel 1: Lot 6, and that part of Lot 7, lying West of the East 30 feet thereof, Block 20, Independence Beach, Hennepin County, Minnesota; Parcel 2: Lot 8 and the East 30 feet of Lot 7, Block 20, Independence Beach, Hennepin County, Minnesota WHEREAS, the proposed parcels are served by public sanitary sewer and water and the owners have requested a fair division of the special assessments heretofore levied; and WHEREAS, none of the described property has previously been the subject of a division/consolidation under the platting code; and WHEREAS, the proposed division/consolidation will not create a need for additional streets; and WHEREAS, a survey of the property, a sketch of the proposed consolidation, and a concise legal description have been filed as part of this application; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina as follows: 1. That the said division/consolidation is hereby excepted from the platting code of the City of Medina; r 2. That the existing special assessments for public improvements be divided as follows: Parcel 1: Parcel 2: -0-o thereof 100% thereof PROVIDED FURTHER that this resolution shall be conditioned upon the following requirements: 1. The applicant shall obtain a land division/consolidation for taxing purposes from the Hennepin County Finance Department consistent herewith; 2. The applicant shall pay in accordance with established city policy, $ Cp7 %,n 0 , in one lump sum payment prior to the issuance of a building permit, as a special assessment for sewer and water on Parcel 1; and 3.
