RESOLUTION NO. 09 -4591
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY PURSUANT TO SECTION 3582.0 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
IMPLEMENTING A FEE FOR USE OF THE CONCESSION STAND AT
LIVE OAK PARK FOR TEMPLE CITY AMATEUR SOFTBALL
ASSOCATION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the City Council has established guidelines for setting fee schedules for the City's
recreational fee and charge programs; and
WHEREAS, the City currently offers recreational facility rental as part of its fee and charge services
including reserved use of the concession stand and athletic fields; and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City incurs costs resulting from public utilization of park facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to recover certain costs associated with public utilization of park
facilities; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of a fee and deposit schedule for the rental of City facilities is
consistent with the City Council's direction; and
WHEREAS, the City has for many years requested reimbursement from organizations utilizing the
concession stand by estimating the actual costs and invoicing users accordingly; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 05-4368 on August 16, 2005 establishing fees
for the use of the concession stand at Live Oak Park for Temple City American Little League, Temple City
American Youth Soccer Organization and Temple City Youth Football; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission of the City of Temple City has approved
reserved use of the concession stand at Live Oak Park for Temple City Amateur Softball Association;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City does hereby resolve, determine and
order as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to section 3582.0 of the Temple City Municipal Code relating to facility rental
and permit fees, the following fee shall apply:
Fee for use of the concession stand for Temple City Amateur Softball Association $500 /month
Fee shall be prorated for partial months.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
