RESOLUTION ND. 2010.024
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING
A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH JUAN .RAMIREZ, `,JD` FOR
SPANISH TRANSLATION, AND AMERLCAN SIGN ,LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION
SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has contracted with Juan Ramirez, JD for
English/Spanish translation and American Sign Language interpretation services; and
WHEREAS, the City's contract with Juan Ramirez, including associated
extensions, expired onDecember 31, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to renew its consulting services agreement with
.Juan Ramirez, JD for atwo-year period without an increase to the hourly base rate of
service.
'NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, .DETERMINE, ,ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Contract approved as to form by the City Attorney -with
Juan Ramirez JD will be adopted for the period from January 1, 2010 through
December 31, 2011..
Section 2. That this .Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption. .
