A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING
THE PLANS, CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND WORKING DETAILS FOR THE
ABBOTT ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.996, FEDERAL
PROJECT NO. 07-LA-0-LYN STPL 5250(010); AND AUTHORIZING THE
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS' ENGINEERING STAFF TO SOLICIT BIDS
WHEREAS, the plans, contract documents and working details for the Abbott
Road Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.996, Federal Project No. 07-LA-0-LYN
STPL 5250(010) are complete and ready for the City Council of the City of Lynwood's
review, consideration and adoption; and _ ,~

WHEREAS, the estimated construction cost of sad'projec#~tiis $1.,962.;1.31~;;arid~
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works `of ;the City of Lynwood has
determined that said projects are in accordance with the California Environmental
Quality Act .(CEQA) and are categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301 (C) of the
CEQA guidelines pertaining to statutory exemptions; and
WHEREAS, the project is ready to be advertised for the solicitation of bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Abbott Road Improvement Project, Project No.
4011.67.996, Federal Project No. 07-LA-0-LYN STPL 5250(010) is in conformance with
the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is categorically exempt.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby adopts the
Plans, Contract Documents and Working Details for the Abbott Road Improvement
'Project, Project No. 4011.67.996, Federal Project No. 07-LA-0-LYN 5250(010).
Section 3. That the City Council of the Gity of .Lynwood authorizes the
solicitation of bids for said project.
Section 4. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this .Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of January, 2010.
