A 'RE'SOLUTION OF THECITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DECLARING
CERTAIN CITY OWNED" VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT r(ATTACHMENT. `A's) AS

WHEREAS, it is the intent of ahe City to dispose of the surplus property through a
public :auction; and ~ . -
WHEREAS, the disposition of the vehicles and property declared as surplus
-under this Resolution sha'II 'be made before City's Purchasing Officer in his discretion
pursuant to Lynwood 'Municipal Code .Section 6-3.14.

NOW, THEREfO.RE~ THE' CITY_COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, ~PROGLAIM, DRDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That pursuant to Lynwood Municipal Code Section 6-3.14, the City
Council declares certain city owned vehicles, equipment, and other miscellaneous items
as surplus ;property {Attachment A).
Section 2. That the City's .Purchasing Officer shall dispose of the surplus
vehicles and equipment in his discretion pursuant to Lynwood Municipal .Code Section.
6-3.14.
Section 3. That any items deemed unsellable will be disposed of properly.
Section 4. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to appropriate
and transfer any proceeds from the disposition to the Automotive equipment account
number 7011.45.420.66025.
Section 5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its,adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19t" day. of January, 2010.
