HomeMy Public PortalAbout1982-019i Member o'%lrma�e g moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution and CITY OF MEDI�jNA RESOLUTION NO. 4 r- / j RESOLUTION OF RESTRICTIONS IMPOSED ON DOCKSIDE TOWNHOUSES BY THE MEDINA CITY COUNCIL WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Medina has approved development plans and a Declaration of Covenants in connection therewith, upon property described as the plat of Dockside, accord- ing to the plat on file in the Office of the Hennepin County Recorder, Hennepin County, Minnesota, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina that notice of the following restrictions and conditions of the development plans and the Declaration of Covenants is hereby given to prospective purchasers who are hereby directed to consult the text of the Declaration of Covenants or the zoning administra- tor of the City of Megdina for additional information: tdr 1. Hardcover)is that area of Dockside devoted to driveways, buildings, patiosf parking spaces and surfaces of a similar nature, and the construction of any additional hardcover requires approval of the Medina City Council; 2. Habitable Space is defined as set forth in Section 409 of the Minnesota State Building Code but includes bathrooms, toilet compartments, closets, halls and similar spaces, while excluding utility, storage, mechanical and similar spaces, and any increase in habitable space of any dwelling requires approval of the Medina City Council; 3. The set -back area is the distance between a structure or other hardcover (including eaves, decks, overhangs, patios, and concrete steps) and the shore of Lake Independence or any property line and no structure or hardcover may be placed in the set -back area; 4. The outside storage of any personal property is strictly regulated; 5. The number and length of boat docks is strictly regulated; 6. The number of boats permitted per dwelling unit is strictly regulated; 7. Outdoor parking spaces must be provided and maintained; " 8. The location of fences, walls and patiosais strictly regulated; and 9. The keeping of animals is strictly regulated.
