A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO NINYO & MOORS IN
THE AMOCTNT OF X6,280.00 FOR PHASE I BROWNFIELDS
REVITALIZATION ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE
THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, The City, of Lynwood received an Environmental Protection
Agency, Brownfields Revitilization Pilot Program Grant; and
WHEREAS, The Community Development, following EPA, City of
Lynwood and prudent public agency practices, reviews submitted Request for Proposals
responses; and
WHEREAS, The Ninyo & Moore received the second highest point~total
under an impartial e-valuation system; ahd
WHEREAS, A contract price of 56,280 was negotiated with Ninyo &
Moore to provide Phase I Brownfields Environmental services as requested by
Environmental Protection Agency's Pilot Program..
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby. find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for Brownfields Revitalization Program -
Phase IEnvironmental Services be awarded to Ninyo & Moore for the negotiated price of
56,280.00
Section 2. That .the Mayor or his designee is hereby .authorized to
execute the :agreement between the City of Lynwood and Ninyo & Moore .
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
