CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 7,2 - a o
RESOLUTION REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT
FOR APPROVED CONSTRUCTION AND APPROVED EASEMENT COSTS
FROM THE CITY OF ORONO PURSUANT TO THE
LONG LAKE-ORONO-MEDINA SANITARY SEWER
CONSTRUCTION AND SERVICE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Section 6 of the above -entitled agreement provides
for reimbursement to the City of Medina by the City of Orono
for 63.60 of approved construction costs and approved easement
costs as defined in Section 1, Subdivision 16 of the said
contract; and
WHEREAS, the total amount of work completed and paid by
the City of Medina through June 30th on Pipe D construction is
$103,622.40, together with an additional $749.00 for work done
on a damaged tile line, bringing the total to $104,371.40; and
WHEREAS, 63.6% of the said construction costs paid to date
is $66,380.21; and
WHEREAS, the costs of acquiring the easements on Pipe D
are as follows:

WHEREAS, 63.60 of that amount is $1,825.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Medina that request is hereby made to the City of Orono
for reimbursement under the Long Lake -Orono -Medina Sanitary
Sewer Construction and Service Agreement in the amount of
$68,205.21;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution constitutes a
request for payment and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to transmit a certified copy thereof to the City Clerk
of the City of Orono.
