A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LY,NWOOD
.AUTHORIZING. THE CITY'MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO
APPROPRIATE AND TRANSFER $55,000.00 FROM AB2928:STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO, 05-5249 TO THE ELM STREET
AND ERNESTINE AVENUE STREET IIVIPROVEMENT PROJECT,
PROJECT NO. OS-5223
WHEREAS, the Elm. Street and Ernestine Avenue, street Improvement
' Project, Project No OS-5223 is scheduled for construction during FY 2000-2001,
and
. WHEREAS, a bid opening for the Elm Street and Ernestine Avenue,
street Improvement Project was held in the office of the City Clerk on January 9;
2001~and eight bids were received, .and
WHEREAS, the ~~ apparent lowest responsible bidder was Civil Works
Corporation, in the amount. of $346,852.00, and ~, '
WHEREAS, the construction cost "is more than the available balance of
the project and additional construction funds are needed'; and

` ~ WHEREAS, funds are available in the AB2928 Street Improvement
Project, Project No OS-5249.
NOW`~THEREFORE, the Crty Council of the City of Lynwood, does
hereby find,. proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to
make the following fund appropriation and transfer.:.

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
