A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PURCHASE NEEDED
MATERIALS, SUPPLIES AND PROFESSIONAL AND
CONTRACTUAL SERVICES THROUGH AN INFORMAL BID
PROCESS FOR THE ALAMEDA STREET WATER MAIN
UPGRADE PROJECT, PROJECT NO 5-5225
iii WHEREAS, the Alameda Street Water Main Upgrade Pro}ect, Project No 5-5225

,' is scheduled for construction during FY 2000-2001, and
WHEREAS, this project is CIP Revenue Bond funded, and
WHEREAS, ACTA will reconstruct and xepave Alameda Street; and
WHEREAS, rt as more cost effective to install the new water main prior to
reconstruction of Alameda Street; and
WHEREAS, professional and contractual services, materials and supplies can be
purchased more economically and expeditiously using an informal bid process, and
WHEREAS, under section 6-3 13 of the Lynwood Municipal Code, Council can
authorize purchases through informal bids by a 4/5 vote
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Crty of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows
Section 1 That staff is authorized to purchase needed materials, supplies and
professional and contractual services for the Alameda Street Water Mam Upgrade
Project, Project No 5-5225 through an informal bid process. '
Section 2 This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
