A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD
CITY COUNCIL TO SIGN THE ATTACHED
"AGREEMENT TO FURNISH CONSULTING SERVICES"
BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AND TELECOM PLANNERS INC.
WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood wishes to bridge the digital divide that exists in
our community; and
WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood also desires to be in a position to enhance the
quality of life and economic vitality throughout the City, through the implementation of a
Telecommunications Master Plan, and
WHEREAS, In order to implement these goals a telecommunications needs
assessment study should be conducted to allow for effective telecommunications
planning and technology development.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
Section 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to carry out any
necessary transactions as so ordered 'by this resolution
Section 2. That the City Council authorize the Mayor to sign the "Agreement
to Furnish Consulting Services" in order to retain Telecom Planners lnc.
Section 3. That the City Council authorize the following appropriation to
,, cover the costs for this project.

$20,000 Unappropriated General Fund 1-4111-4220
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption
