A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE DEDICATION OF A 60 5
SQUARE FOOT CORNER CUT OF ASSESSOR'S PARCEL
6173-12-900 FOR STREET PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the California Avenue Improvement Project is listed in the
City's FY 2000-01 Capital Improvement Project Program, and
WHEREAS, the project design calls for certain wider curb returns for
improvement of traffic circulation and accommodation of standard wheelchair ramps,
and
WHEREAS, the wider curb return at the southwest corner of .the City-
owned Parcel 6173-12-900 requires an additional 60 5 square foot corner cut; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to approve the dedication of
said corner cut for street purposes
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the dedication of certain City-
owned property for street purposes as described below:
The southwesterly half of the south 11 feet of the west 11 feet of Lot 267,
~--. in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California, , as
shown in Tract No 2551, Map Book 24, Pages 78-80 of maps, in the
County Recorder Office of said County
Assessor's Parcel No 6173-12-900
Commonly known as 11240 California Avenue -
Section 2' This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
