HomeMy Public PortalAbout1982-024Member Thomas Crosby introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 82-24 RESOLUTION ADOPTING CORRECTIONS TO THE MEDINA COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WHEREAS, the City of Medina has submitted its Comprehensive Plan for review on;zo the Metropolitan Council under the 1976 Metro- politan Land Use Planning Act; and WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council staff has reviewed said plan according to the September 9, 1982 Medina Comprehensive Plan Review document; and WHEREAS, the City of Medina intends to follow the plan review process and submit additional information to clarify its policies and related actions; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Medina agrees to the following in anticipation of the October 7, 1982 Metropolitan Council Physical Development Committee meeting: A. Plan amendments: 1. Correct the designation of the boundary for the Baker Park Reserve 2. Add the regional trail corridor running northeast from Baker to Fish \Lake Regional Parks 3. Modify the CSP sewer service area limits for the Lake Independence and Medina Morningside Areas 4. Resubmit the engineers planned sewage flow consistent with the Metro Sewer Plan 5. Maintain existing plan content to meet the stormwater, slope and CIP review concerns 6. Submit the attached Rural Development Potential Analysis of the Medina Land Use Control System to clarify Medina's rural land use policies as an ever increasing point of concern of the Metropolitan Council staff 7. Storm water systems reviewed by Hennepin County Soil and Water Conservation Districts.
