RESOLUTION DECLARING DECLARATION OF GIFT
WHEREAS,the City of Marcus, Iowa desires and intends to make a gift of certain
property to Cherokee County Sheriff, Cherokee, Iowa.
WHEREAS, the City of Marcus, Iowa hereby gives,transfer, and deliver to Cherokee
County Sheriff the following described property: Ford Taurus Interceptor Awd with the
acknowledgement that the Cherokee County Sheriff will pay for equipment to be removed and
reinstalled in another City of Marcus Police Depat lunent vehicle.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City of Marcus is the sole owner of said
property and it is distinctly understood by the Council of the City of Marcus that it is the
Council's purpose and intention to vest all the incidents of absolute ownership of the property to
Cherokee County Sheriff from this time forward.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 9th day of October 2023.
