CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.Y _
RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT TO HENNEPIN COUNTY PARK RESERVE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City of Medina is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minne-
sota; and
WHEREAS, the City has adopted a comprehensive plan and
zoning ordinance for the purpose of protecting the public
health, safety, and morals and assuring orderly development
of the residential, commercial, industrial, recreational, and
public areas in the City; and
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Park Reserve District has
applied for a Conditional Use Permit for construction of a,
maintenance facility building on County Road 19 in the City
of Medina; and
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Park Reserve District has
submitted plans for construction of a maintenance facility
building on County Road 19; and
WHEREAS, the proposed construction will occur in an area
zoned Public in conformance with Medina Zoning Ordinance 040,
such provision requiring a Conditional Use Permit for the con-
struction of said facility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
the City of Medina hereby grant a Conditional Use Permit to
the Hennepin County Park Reserve District for the construction
of a maintenance facility building on County Road 19, subject
to the following conditions and subject to the Hennepin County
Park Reserve District's agreeing to those conditions by sign-
ing of the Resolution:
1. This approval shall be contingent upon the Hennepin County
Park Reserve District signing and abiding by the terms of the
Development Contract covering this project, as attached hereto;
2. No later than ,11L,e,,,,s /.i'•:, l.:�% , 198 , a drainage plan
shall be designed and approved for the area with such on -site
construction as determined necessary by the City Engineer to
adequately handle all drainage.

3. The parking lot and driveway to be constructed in connec-
tion with said facility building shall be constructed of
asphalt or concrete surface.
