A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO WINEFIELD
ASSOCIATES THE AMOUNT OF $1,3,890 FOR PHASE II
BROWNFIELDS REVITALIZATION ENVIRONMENTAL, SERVICES,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OR HI5 DESIGNEE TO-
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT `
WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood received.-an Environmental Protection
Agency, Brownfields Revitilization Pilot Program. Grant; and -
WHEREAS, Winefield & Associates completed the Phase I Brownfield
- Environmental Services as outline in the professional services agreement with the. City of
Lynwood dated January 21, 2001; and
WHEREAS, The .EPA approved the City of Lynwood's request to add
the cost of a Phase II Assessment for the Lynwood Springs Retail Center to the approved
grant. expenditures; and
" WHEREAS; A contract price of $13;890 was negotiated with Winefield &
Associates.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City_of Lynwood does
hereby find,. proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for Brownfields Revitalization Program -
Phase II Environmental Services required for- the Lynwood Springs Retail Center be
awarded to Winefield & Associates for the negotiated price of $13,890.
Section 2. That the, Mayor or his designee is hereby authorized to
execute the agreement between the City of Lynwood and Winefield & Associates.
Section 3. This resolution shall ~ take effect immediately upon its
adoption. ,
