RESOLUTION GRANTING APPLICATION
FOR ZONING AMENDMENT
WHEREAS, Emil Jubert has applied for a zoning amendment
to change the classification of the following described prop-
erty from Rural Residential to Agricultural Preserve:
The NW 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Section 11, except-
ing therefrom right-of-way of Minneapolis,
St. Paul & Sioux St. Marie Railway Company
as the same is now construed over and across
the premises, also
The SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 2. All in
Township 118, Range 23 subject to easements
of any nature and except roads; and
WHEREAS, the Agricultural Preservation district was esta-
blished for the purpose of preserving, promoting, maintaining,
and enhancing the use of land for commercial agricultural pur-
poses; and
WHEREAS, Emil Jubert is presently using the above -described
property for commercial agricultural purposes and intends to so
use the property for that purpose in the future; and
WHEREAS, a zoning amendment classifying the above -described
property as Agricultural Preservation is a means to reflect the
City's policy of preserving land for commercial agricultural pur-
poses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Medina, that the Zoning Ordinance and map be amended to
indicate that the following described property:
The NW 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Section 11, except-
ing therefrom right-of-way of Minneapolis,
St. Paul & Sioux St. Marie Railway Company
as the same is now construed over and across
the premises, also
The SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 2. All in
Township 118, Range 23 subject to easements
of any nature and except roads;
is hereby zoned Agricultural Preservation.
