£RESOLUTION OF THE, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
` LYNWOOD APPROVING THE CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR "
THE WASTE HAULING SERVICES AUDIT, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR T'O EXECUTE THE. AGREEMENT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER~OR HIS DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE
NECESSARY FUNDS APPROPRIATIONS AND TRANSFERS

~` WHEREAS, the City Council requested staff to solicit consulting services for the
auditing of Waste Management's records; and '
WHEREAS, staff sent out Request for Proposals for said consulting services and
has received proposals from consulting firms; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the proposal from Hilton Farnkopf & Hobson,
LCC, and found. that it possesses the qualifications and experience for this type of services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE, IT RESOLVED by the City" Council of the City of
Lynwood as follows:
Section 1 • That the City Council approves the selection of Hilton Farnkopf &
Hobson, LCC, for the auditing services of Waste Management's records for $75,000.
. Section 2: That the Mayor is authorized to execute the contract agreement with
said consulting firm.

,Section- 3: That the City Manager or his designee to make the following funds
.appropriations and transfers•

Section 5: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
