_ ~A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNINOOD AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
-~ PUBLIC WORKS TO EXECUTE CERTAIN PURCHASE
ORDER AGREEMENTS, FOR CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
. SERVICES FOR THE ALAMEDA STREET RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT

°~ ~ WHEREAS, the City and the Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority
~;- (ACTA) have executed a MOU, relative to the Alameda Corridor Project; and
' WHEREAS, said MOU requires `the City to' provide construction
administration. for the portion of work within city boundary~limits; and
. !
WHEREAS, the cost incurred by the City shall be fully reimbursed by
ACTA; and
WHEREAS, said construction administration requires the use of ou't'side
consulting services; and.
' - WHEREAS, RSA Technical Support Services, Inc. and CNC Engineering
can competentlyprovide said services in a timely manner for a fee of $15;000 and
$75,000 respectively;. and-
WHEREAS, the City's administrative services related to said construction
will cost approximately $10,000;
` WHEREAS, staff has identified available funds that can be advanced for
~ said costs.

. - NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOL.VED by the City Council of the City~of
_ Lynwood as follows
Section 1. That the Director of Public works is authorized to execute a
purchase order agreement with RSA Technical Support Services, inc. for $15,D00.
Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is authorized to execute .a
purchase order agreement with CNC Engineering for $75,000.
Section 3. This resolution. shall .take effect immediately upon its adoption
