RESOLUTION NO. 09-4621
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY UPHOLDING THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S ACTION AND
DENYING A ZONE VARIANCE REQUEST TO LEGALIZE AN EXISTING
153 SQUARE FOOT STORAGE AREA THAT HAS A REAR YARD
SETBACK OF 8 FEET 5 INCHES INSTEAD OF THE REQUIRED 15 FEET.
THE SUBJECT PROPERTY IS ZONED R -1 AND IS DESIGNATED AS
LOW - DENSITY RESIDENTIAL BY THE GENERAL PLAN. (ZV 09-

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. Based upon information contained in the staff report to the City Council and
information contained in the Planning Commission staff report as well as the Planning Commission minutes
of July 7, 2009, and based upon a review of the plans and based upon testimony received at a noticed public
hearing before the Planning Commission on May 12, 2009 and based upon a noticed public hearing before
the City Council on July 7, 2009, the City Council hereby upholds the action of the Planning Commission and
denies the Zone Variance based upon the findings set forth in Planning Commission Resolution No. 09 -2277
PC.
SECTION 2. Accordingly, Zone Variance 09 -1723 is hereby denied.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DAY OF JULY 2009.
