RESOLUTION NO. f3- .'
RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE PREPARATION
OF SPECIFICATIONS AND THE ADVERTISEMENT
FOR BIDS FOR FIRE APPARATUS
WHEREAS, the City of Medina is served by four separate
fire departments on the basis of year to year contracts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Medina as follows:
1. It is hereby declared to be in the public interest
of the City of Medina to begin the purchase and ac-
quisition of fire fighting apparatus;
2. The City of Medina is in need of fire apparatus for
the combating of brush and marsh fires;
3. The director of public works, in conjunction with
the Mayor and other knowledgeable parties, is hereby
authorized and directed to prepare specifications
for a light truck and fire fighting apparatus
appropriate for the combating of brush and marsh
fires;
4 The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
advertise for bids for the fire fighting apparatus
herein described, t o en and tabulate said bids on
the /5- day of .,.� , 1983, at 11:00
a.m., and $o eport to the ty Council on the /.S
day of 4.-e.c-v4 , 1983, at 8:00 p.m., the re-
sults of the said �vertisement for bids.

Sealed proposals will be received, publicly opened and
tabulated by the City Clerk at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February
15, 1983, and considered by the City OounCil at its regular
meeting, that evening for the purchase of
A used,light,truck and fire fighting apparatus
appropriate for combating brush and marsh fires.
A11 proposals shall be addressed to the City Clerk of Medina,
2-'052 Co. Rd. 2)4, Hamel, MN. 553)10 and shall be marked "Fire
Truck Bid."
Copies of the Specifications may be obtained from the City
Clerk. No deposit nor bid bond will be required.
The City of Medina reserves the right to reject any and all
bids and waive any informalities therein.
