AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SIZE OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF CITY GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE,
INDIANA, FIXING SALARIES FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF SUCH DEPARTMENTS AND FIXING THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN
OTHER APPOINTED OFFICIALS FOR THE YEAR 2012
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, as follows:
SECTION ONE: That the City of Greencastle will pay all eligible employees 26 bi- weekly pays effective with pay period beginning
December 31, 2011 at the below listed rates. That all eligible full -time members of the departments of the City of Greencastle shall be
paid longevity beginning the first date of the anniversary month of the fourth, seventh, twelfth and fifteen year of service. Longevity shall
be based on 3 %, 4 %, 5% and 6% respectively, i.e. those personnel in their fourth through sixth year of service shall be paid a 3%
longevity; seventh through eleventh year of service shall be paid 4 %, twelve through fourteenth year of service shall be paid 5% and
those employees in their fifteen year and over shall be paid 6 %. Full -time members shall be compensated for authorized overtime in
accordance with the Fair Labor Standard Act, 29 U.S.C.A. 207.

The Utiltiy Department shall pay the designated amount to the following employees of the City of Greencastle for services rendered on
behalf of the City of Greencastle during the year 2012:

That the Utility Department shall pay to each of the two (2) citizen members of the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of
Greencastle for the services rendered by the citizen members of the Board of Public Works and Safety on behalf of the Utility Department
during the year 2012 the sum of two thousand one hundred forty dollars ($2,140.00).
