~- RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~°HE
, - CITY OF LYNVltOOD AUTHORIZING THE f ~ ,
DONATION OF CONFISCATED E!/IDENCE TO THE
RED CROSS DISASTER RELIEF EFFORT .
r ~- WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood acknowledges the disaster caused by
' the. actions of terrorist in,the United States; and
' ,
WHEREAS, a disaster relief fund has been set~to receive donations to:
help with the recovery of the areas affected; and
r~ ,
. WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood has confiscated miscellaneous items '
that are due to be destroyed; and _
WHEREAS; that .items consists primarily ~of quilts, pillows, blankets,
cassette tapes, home decorations, and toys.
~~ - . NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood that:
Section-1. "The City, Council of the City of Lynwood hereby authorizes
the donation of the confiscated evidence that is due to be destroyed, to the Red
Cross. Disaster Relief Effort. .
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.. `
