A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PURCHASE NEEDED
MATERIALS, SUPPLIES AND SERVICES THROUGH AN INFORMAL BID
PROCESS FOR THE NATATORIUM COURTYARD AREA IMPROVEMENT AND
POOL ACCESSORIES, PROJECT NO OS-5208
WHEREAS, the Natatorium Improvement Project, Project No 5-5208 is scheduled
for completion during FY 2001-2002; and
WHEREAS, Council wishes to improve and beautify the courtyard area and
upgrade pool accessories at the natatorium for the residents enjoyment; and
WHEREAS, Council does not wish to delay completion of the natatorium; and
WHEREAS, this project can be built more economically and expeditiously using
an informal bid process to purchase needed materials, supplies and services, and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Municipal Code, Section 6-3.13 allows the informal
bidding process with a 4/5 vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, be rt resolved by the Lynwood City Council as follows:
Section 1 The City Council authorizes the informal bidding-process for the
implementation'ofsmd project by a 4/5 vote.
Section 2 This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
