RESOLUTION NO. 2017-09-07
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SURVEY AND ENGINEERING DESIGN PRE-GRANT
EXPENDITURES FOR US40 PEDESTRIAN SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
ENHANCEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the Town of Fraser has been awarded two CDOT grants to assist with funding to
construct the US40 Pedestrian Safety Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, on August 16, 2017, the Town Board approved expenditures for these
improvements for pre-grant preliminary survey work not to exceed $40,000; and
WHEREAS, in an effort to construct this project in 2018, Staff is requesting that Fraser pay up
front for the engineering design work estimated not to exceed $87,000.00.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
FRASER, COLORADO THAT:
1. The Town Board of Fraser, Colorado hereby authorizes the expenditure of up to
$87,000.00 for engineering design related to the US40 Pedestrian Safety Improvement
Project enhancements.
