"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN THE CITY MANAGER'S CONTRACT
~~ CHANGE ORDER APPROVAL LIMIT TO $150,000.00 FOR ADDITIONAL
.~ WORK ON THE NATATORIUM IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT
NUMBER 5-5208".
WHEREAS, the. Natatorium Improvement Project, Project Number 5-5208
is scheduled for completion during FY 2001-2002 and. ,
WHEREAS, additional work is needed on the Natatorium Improvement
Project; and
WHEREAS, additional improvements may exceed the City Mangers
contract change order approval limits; and
WHEREAS, an increase to a $150,000.00 change order approval limit will
cover all additional work; and
WHEREAS, Council wishes to complete this project in a timely; and
WHEREAS, Section 6-3.15 .paragraph d, of the Lynwood Municipal Code
allows Council., by resolution, to authorize the City Manager to exceed the
contract change order approval limits
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
~-- find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
contract change orders, for a total not to exceed $150,000.00, for the
Natatorium Improvement Project, Project No. 05-5208
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
