A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE AGREEMENT FOR
CONSULTING SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AND CCN COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
FOR SUPPLEMENTAL WRITING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council has indicated various strategies relating to public
information in the Lynwood Strategic Plan be implemented, and

WHEREAS, the Media Services Division charged with the task of informing the
public about City services and programs does not have the level of staff to address the
extensive writing involved with the strategies set in the Lynwood Strategic Plan, and
WHEREAS, CCN Communications Network founded by Chico Norwood .has the
expertise to provide supplemental writing services on a contractual basis
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE,
DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOW
SECTION 1 That the City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute the
Agreement for consulting services between the City of Lynwood and CCN
Communications Network for supplemental Writing Services
SECTION 2. That the City Council approves the transfer of not to exceed
amount of $15,000 to be transferred from the unappropriated general fund •to the
Lynwood Information Inc. account.
SECTION 3' That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption
