A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS
DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE FIELD DEMONSTRATION
AGREEMENT WITH THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GAS
COMPANY
WHEREAS, The Ham Park Youth Center is scheduled for completion during FY
2001-2002, and
WHEREAS, the Southern California Gas Company has incentives to owners of
facilities to install HVAC energy efficient engine driven technology under their Select
Technology Funding Program, and
WHEREAS, the City will receive $15,000.00 under the Southern California Gas
Company Select Technology Funding Program to install the HVAC system at Ham Park, and
WHEREAS, Council wishes to participate in such a program to help m reduction
of electricity demand during peak use hours.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows.
Section 1 That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to execute
the Field Demonstration Agreement between the Crty of Lynwood and Southern California Gas
Company.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
