RESOLUTION NO. 09 -4643
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING HOLIDAYS FOR FISCAL YEAR
2010 -2011
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE
AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The twelve (12) holidays established for the City of Temple City for fiscal year 2010-
2011 are as follows:
Independence Day (observed Monday, July 5, 2010)
Labor Day (Monday, September 6, 2010)
Veterans Day (Thursday, November 11, 2010)
Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 25, 2010)
Day after Thanksgiving (Friday, November 26, 2010)
Christmas Day (Observed Friday, December 24, 2010)
New Years Day (Observed Friday, December 31, 2010)
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Monday, January 17, 2011)
Presidents' Day (Monday, February 21, 2011)
Cesar Chavez Day (Thursday, March 31, 2011)
Memorial Day (Monday, May 30, 2011), and
One (1) floating holiday to be used as each employee chooses.
SECTION 2. If a holiday observed by the City of Temple City falls on an employee's normal day off,
that employee will be allotted an ten (10) hour floating holiday which may be taken only during or after the pay
period of that holiday in the 2010 -2011 fiscal year.
SECTION 3. All floating holidays are to be taken by each employee as they choose, in compliance
with the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations pertaining to use of vacation. Such holidays may not be
used or carried over into the next fiscal year starting July 1, 2011.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 17th day of November, 2009.

and adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of
November 2009, by the following vote:
