CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 57 " •3 0
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING CONDITIONS
TO BE IMPOSED BY THE HENNEPIN COUNTY
BOARD UPON SALE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF MEDINA
WHEREAS, each of the lots legally described herein and
located in the City of Medina is presently held by the State
of Minnesota as tax -forfeit lands; and
WHEREAS, each lot has been classified by the Board of
County Commissioners of Hennepin County, Minnesota as non -
conservation land; and
WHEREAS, the City of Medina desires that the County
Auditor of Hennepin County sell the lots and restrict the
sale thereof to the owners of land adjoining said property;
and
WHEREAS, said property cannot be improved because of
noncompliance with the City of Medina ordinances regarding
minimum area, minimum width and depth, high water table and
steep slopes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
acting pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 282.01,
Subdivision 7a that the City of Medina recommends to. the
County Board of Hennepin County that each lot be conveyed to
the adjoining owners of said property subject to the following
conditions: 1) each lot sold shall be combined with the
adjoining landowner's property as soon as is reasonably
possible; and 2) any new additions or improvements built on
the lot conveyed shall meet existing Medina zoning require-
ments.
