CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. g g /
RESOLUTION CANCELLING ASSESSMENTS IN INDEPENDENCE BEACH
WHEREAS, as part of a sanitary sewer and water project,
assessments were levied on October 7, 1975, by the City of Medina
against the following real estate, in the amounts indicated;
and
WHEREAS, there remains unpaid principal, interest and
penalty charges against the said real estate in the following
amounts:
WHEREAS, the Council finds, upon advice of the municipal
Attorney, that the assessments may be invalid because the real
estate in question cannot be used for single family residential
purposes as permitted under City zoning ordinances;
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the City Council of the
City of Medina that the remaining principal, interest and penalties
resulting from the levy of October 7, 1975, may be, and the same
are hereby cancelled;
Be It Further Resolved, that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to transmit a copy of this resolution to the Hennepin
County Auditor requesting cancellation of the asse =m-•ts on the
books and records of the County. /
