CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. g.3- -3/CL
RESOLUTION DECLARING THE COST TO BE ASSESSED
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE HAMEL WELL AND
WATER SYSTEM AND ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF
A PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS, a contract has been let and the costs have
been determined for the improvement of the Hamel Well and
Water System to serve Sections 11 and 12, Township 118,
Range 23, Hennepin County, which consists of the construction
of a water well and appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the contract price for the said improvement is
$ 70, 45/ and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in
the making of the improvement amount to $ /6;3 83 ,
bringing the total cost of the improvement to $ 45:,4 0 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Medina, Minnesota:
1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be
paid by the City is hereby declared to be $ 0
and the portion of the cost to be assessed against
benefited property owners is declared to be $ 5--_5, Y%-ICE .
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the consulting
engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper
amount to be specially assessed for such improvement
against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of
land within the district affected, without regard
to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the
City Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed
assessment in the office of the City Clerk for
public inspection.
3. Upon the completion and filing of the proposed
assessment, the City Clerk shall notify the City
Council thereof.
