City of Medina
City Council Resolution
August 30, 1983
Whereas the City of Medina has previously opposed
the location of a sanitary landfill on property presently
included within the Morris T. Baker Park, and
Whereas Hennepin County had deleted the Baker Park
site from its list of possible landfill locations in Hennepin
County, and
Whereas the Metropolitan Council has recently
added the Baker Park site as a possible Hennepin County landfill
location,
Therefore be it resolved that the City Council of
Medina objects to and will oppose the location of a sanitary
landfill in Baker Park.
Further resolved that the position of the City and
the materials prepared in opposition to the Baker Park site
be made available to members of the Metropolitan Council.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Medina this
day of de-4-tfc.e-a-G ' 1983.
