A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCLL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL. OF CERTAIN COMPUTER EQUIPMENT
FROM RESOLUTION NO. 2000.220 AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO DONATE
THE EQUIPMENT TO CERTAIN. ORGANIZATIONS
WHEREAS, after many years of service, cerfain computer equipment
has either reached the end of its useful life or has become non-compatible with
the City's local area network .(LAN) system; and
+ WHEREAS, the equipment was declared surplus on December 19, .2000;
and: '
WHEREAS, several organizations have expressed interest in having the
City donate any operable and unused computer equipment for training purposes;
.and
WHEREAS, said equipment is identified in Attachment "A" and_ attached
herewith...
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve and follows:
Section 1. That the equipment listed in Attachment "A" be removed from
Resolution No. 2000.220. ;
Section 2. That the equipment be donated to the following organizations•
a) Barrett Youth Training (4 computers)
b) Lynwood Chamber of Commerce (3 computers)
c) Other focal. non-profit organizations and/or schools in the City of Lynwood
Section 3. That this resolution shall go into effect, immediately upon its
adoption.
