A .RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL.. OF THE CITY OF LY,NWOOD
.AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TOEXECUTE A
PURCHASE ORDER AGREEMENfi WITH IBI GROUP FOR CONSTRUCTION
INSPECTION SERVICES fOR THE ALAMEDA (EAST AND WEST)
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted resolution 2001.0778 °
authorizing the Director o'f Public Works to execute a purchase order agreement
with CNC Engineering for construction inspection services; and

° WHEREAS, at this time CNC Engineering does not have qualified
personnel to conduct construction inspection; and '
WHEREAS, construction started on Alameda Street October 10,
2001; and
WHEREAS, IBI Group has qualified personnel on staff to conduct
construction inspection and can start work immediately; and
WHEREAS,`the estimated cost of these services is $75,000.00 and
` ACTA will reimburse the City for such services.
'NOW,, THEREFORE, the City Council of~the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows: '
Section 1'. That the Director of Public Works is authorized to
execute a .purchase order agreement in the amount of $75,000.00 with. IBI Group
for construction inspection services on Alameda Street (East and West)
Construction Project. t
Section 2. This resolution shall go mto effect immediately upon its
adoption.
