Home My Public Portal About2001.127 (10-16-01)RESOLUTION NO. 2001.127 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY, COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE AUCTION OF CERTAIN SURPLUS VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE APPRgPRIATION OF THE REALIZED PROCEEDS WHEREAS, the .implementation of the Vehicles/equipment .Replacement Program has resulted in the retirement of certain vehicles and equipment ;and WHEREAS, said ~ vehicles and equipment can be declared as surplus properties ..and can be disposed through public auctrons; and WHEREAS, the realized proceeds from these auctions can be used for. .the replacement of other vehicles/equipment in the Vehicles/Equipment Replacement Program NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Crty Council of the City of Lynwood as follows: Section 1. That the City Council. approves the disposal through public auctions of certain surplus vehicles/equipment identified in Attachment "A". } Section 2. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows: • .Section 1. As part of its job training and job- opportunity expansion program. the City Council approves the submittal of a Brownfields Job Training and Development Demonstration Pilot Program application to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. • Section 2.
