A;RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE CONVEYANCE. OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTH EAST CORNER OF
ATLANTIC AVENUE'AND JOSEPHINE STREET FROM THE LYNWOOD
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO PERFORM CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
AND UPGRADES -
°; WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood ("City") is proposing to construct certain public
1 ~ improvements along the .public right a way which requires ownership of property; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood and the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency are
engaged in .activities necessary to execute and implement the Redevelopment Plan for
Redevelopment Project Area "A" ("Redevelopment Project") in the City of Lynwood and in
order to do so the City of Lynwood accepts the. transfer of title of Agency property to
perform certain public improvements at and around the property; and
NOW, THEREFORE, IT 1S RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood
as follows:
Section 1. The City hereby finds and determines that accepting the transfer of the
property to the City is in the best interest of the City of Lynwood and the health, safety,
morals andwelfare of its residents, and in accord with. the public purposes and provisions
of applicable State and local law.
Section 2. The City hereby finds and determines that the public improvements and
upgrades to the property is necessary to effectuate the purpose of the Redevelopment
Plan for the Redevelopment Project.

~ Section 3: The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute any grant deeds in
connection with accepting the property transfer.
